Holy Scripture
We believe the entire Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. We believe all Scripture is true and trustworthy.
Jesus
We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God. Jesus made provision for redemption of mankind from sin by his substitutionary atonement, was raised from the dead and appeared to His disciples and ascended into heaven. He will return in power and glory someday to judge the world and consummate His kingdom.
Salvation
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole person and is offered freely to all who are willing to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior by repentance and faith. We also believe that Jesus Christ is the sole means of salvation and to enter heaven (John 14:6, Eph. 2:8-9).
The Church
We believe that every congregation should operate under the Lordship of Christ through democratic process. In such a congregation, each member is responsible and accountable to Christ as Lord. We believe in the necessity of Christians joining and being a serving part of the local congregation. As the New Testament speaks of the church as the Body of Christ, it includes all of the redeemed of all ages, believers from every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.
